Built on the same hyper-detailed, fully articulated body frame as the MG Force Impulse Gundam, the Sword Impulse adds the Sword Silhouette pack to complete its iconic combat form. The Impulse system splits into three components — Chest Flyer, Core Splendor, and Leg Flyer — and reassembles mid-battle. Core Splendor's cockpit opens to seat an in-scale pilot figure, and landing gear are included for both the Chest Flyer and Leg Flyer — an original gimmick never seen in the anime.
